Why does changing a single character make the entire hash look completely different?
First, the definition: the same input always produces the same hash. Even changing just one character in the input will make the hash completely different.
The logic behind it: each block header records the hash of the previous block. Changing any historical block changes that block’s hash, so all subsequent blocks will no longer match.
Mining $BTC essentially means continuously calculating SHA-256 hashes to find a result that meets the difficulty requirements. Currently: 84204.44.
Don’t follow suit just because everyone around you is buying.
