I used to check the market dozens of times a day. Now sometimes I can’t even be bothered to open Binance.

I wonder if anyone else feels the same.

In my first few years in crypto, I was glued to my phone. A little uptick made me happy; a little dip got me down. Even if I woke up in the middle of the night, I’d check the market, afraid I might miss an opportunity.

But after going through more market cycles, I gradually stopped getting so worked up.

Especially when I see some new coin suddenly skyrocket and people in the group chat showing off their gains everywhere—I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted.

But I’ve also seen too many people showing off their profits one day, then going quiet a few days later.

Sometimes I find it kind of amusing.

We’re supposed to be investing to make life a little easier, yet some people end up living like trading bots, watching the charts 24 hours a day.

I still hold my spot assets and keep an eye on the market, but I don’t rush to change my approach just because someone else made a lot of money.

Of course, holding for the long term doesn’t guarantee you’ll make money. Pick the wrong coin, and you can still lose a lot.

I just feel more and more that when it comes to investing, returns aren’t the only thing to consider—we should also think about how much time and emotional energy we put into it.

Making money matters.

But if the money you make can’t make up for all the sleep and peace of mind you’ve lost over the years, can you really call it a profit?

I wonder where you all are at these days.

Are you watching the charts every day, or have you gotten too lazy to check?
