Is this pullback to 80K a retest of the bottom?
Absolutely not.
How do you know? I’m guessing.
That’s the “刻舟求剑” methodology—BTC needs to pull back to 70K for that to be the bottom.
BTC has started pushing up again over the past couple of days.
Looking at the chart pattern, it should extend this rebound a bit further. It’s already broken through the first resistance at 84,000, so personally, I think it could reach around 87,000.
The odds of a straight breakout are low.
I’m aggressive, so I’ve already opened a short at 84,000. If you want to play it safe, I’d suggest shorting around 86,000.
ETH: I’ve called for longs several times recently around 2,300. It has now rebounded to around 2,500. Last night I told everyone they could take a quick short at 2,520, but to play it safe, shorting around 2,650 should be fine.
SOL: If you want to short, wait until around 115.
ZEC: Don’t rush into shorting it lately—it could wipe you out. This rebound is just getting started. If you absolutely have to short, wait for 1,460 or near the previous high of 1,640. You can go long on a pullback to 1,280.
CL: Hold your shorts around 100. There’s a good chance the Russia–Ukraine war will end soon.
PAXG: Buy spot between 4,150 and 4,000. The whales have already started building a bottom position.
U.S. stocks: SNDK can be bought on a pullback to around 1,350; MU around 880. They should rebound again later.
INTC: Buy spot around 90.
SPCX: 165–175 is the top range for this rebound, so you can short there.
Personally, I suggest keeping your spot and futures accounts separate. That way, you can isolate risk—or keep greed in check.
Spot and futures trading call for different ways of thinking and different approaches.
