BTC holds above $83,000—where is the money behind the rebound coming from?

On October 21, Bitcoin stabilized in the $82,800–$83,200 range, up about 1% over 24 hours. Ethereum hovered near $2,450, gaining 2% on the day.

The catalyst is clear: U.S. spot ETFs saw $527 million in net inflows on October 19. BlackRock’s IBIT alone attracted $665 million, its biggest single-day inflow since October 7, 2025.

But there’s another side to the story: Fidelity saw $83.6 million in outflows, and Grayscale saw $54.9 million. For the month as a whole, net flows are still slightly negative. The market is caught between a recovery in buying and selling pressure from holders who bought in around $87,000. $BTC $ETH
