#zec Guys, don’t short this thing—every time you do, it gets squeezed. ZEC’s massive bull run this cycle has been driven all the way up by crushing the shorts; there hasn’t been much trading volume at all…. The market maker is holding a very concentrated spot position. This bull run was created by a short squeeze, and the price won’t stop rising until the shorts are wiped out. It was pushed up to 1,600 before, and a lot of shorts got wiped out; then it started falling. Now a new batch of people has come along to short it again. Goddamn, it’s been pumped $300 in two days! Best to stay away. Even if you go long at these highs, you’ll only get a tiny bite—once the shorts are all dead, the pumping will stop, and then one sharp drop will leave you stuck for life. Liquidity is terrible, and when it drops, nobody will catch the falling knife. Let the market maker play with it themselves.
