Remember these facts about hash functions:
1) A hash function converts data of any length into an output of fixed length. This output is called a hash value, or simply a digest.
2) SHA-256 always produces a 256-bit output, which is represented as 64 hexadecimal characters.
3) Don’t confuse a transaction hash with a private key: transaction hashes can be made public, but private keys and seed phrases must never be shared.
Mining $BTC essentially involves repeatedly calculating SHA-256 hashes to find a result that meets the difficulty requirement.
