According to Jin10, Micron Chief Technology and Products Officer Scott DeBoer said, as reported by Nikkei, that the company has evaluated 4F² memory technology for more than 20 years but has no current plans to adopt it. Micron will continue its existing technology roadmap and focus on next-generation 3D DRAM. DeBoer said 4F² technology is more complex and costly, with limited practical advantages, while 3D DRAM has greater development potential.
