The Crypto Market Is Recovering — But Are Altcoins Really Strong?

$BTC bouncing back doesn't automatically mean the altcoin market is healthy.

Here's what caught my attention: recent market data showed that 48.4% of Binance-listed altcoins were trading below their 200-day moving average on October 18, a sharp increase from less than 10% earlier in the month.

That tells us something important: a market rebound can happen even while many altcoins remain technically weak.

📊 What I'm watching now:

🔹 BTC strength: Can Bitcoin maintain its recovery and keep market sentiment supported?

🔹 Altcoin structure: Are coins reclaiming important resistance levels, or are they still making lower highs?

🔹 Volume confirmation: A breakout without convincing volume deserves extra caution.

My trading approach: I'm not chasing green candles. I'd rather wait for an altcoin to reclaim resistance, hold the retest, and show clear buying pressure before considering a bullish setup.

If Bitcoin weakens again, vulnerable altcoins could face renewed selling pressure. If market strength broadens and more coins reclaim key levels, the picture could improve.

The next move isn't just about whether prices rise. It's about whether buyers can sustain that move.
