Guys every cycle has a project everyone says they "should've bought."

2015, Ethereum. 2016, Zcash. 2017, Binance. 2018, Uniswap. 2019, Chainlink. 2020, Aave. 2021, Solana. 2022, Arbitrum. 2023, Sui. 2024, Ethereum. 2025, Hyper liquid.

Look at that list again. Almost none of them looked obvious at the start. Ethereum was "a slow Bitcoin copy." Uniswap was "a weird experiment." Solana was dead after FTX, and Hyper liquid was "just another perp DEX." The people who got in early weren't geniuses, they just did the work while everyone else was waiting for permission.

I've missed a few of these myself, and the lesson is always the same: by the time a narrative feels safe, the move is mostly over. The real edge is studying what's quietly building while the timeline is busy chasing last cycle's winners.
