Thank you, Academy Companion Ambassador Teacher @都柏林碎碎念 , for tagging me in the relay event for the Academy official account~

I actually registered on Binance many years ago. I entered the crypto world that summer when Dogecoin $DOGE was sent soaring by my god Musk. Before then, I didn’t even know what stocks were; I got into this asset purely out of my boundless admiration for Musk. As luck would have it, the well-known YouTube channel 【Brain Hole Utopia】 was hacked around that time. The hackers stole the account, wiped all the videos, and posted videos related to Dogecoin, which left an even deeper impression on me.

After that, I got badly trapped in Dogecoin, and it completely changed my life. Being stuck in that position led me to start learning about trading theories and knowledge. I followed lots of trading creators on YouTube, and the one who left the deepest impression on me—and whom I’m most grateful to—is @K线教主宝宝 . I watched practically every one of her videos, and through the Guru’s channel I was introduced to 【Chan Theory】, a trading theory developed by Chinese speakers. After that, I couldn’t stop. I carefully studied all kinds of printed and electronic editions of books on Chan Theory, as well as the original Chan Theory blog on Sina. I even got to the point of scrutinizing every word. The original author’s style was so free-flowing and expansive, and his emphasis on mathematics made it especially easy to fuel people’s delusions. So I stayed tangled up in Chan Theory for many years.

Since I’m a programmer, I was deeply fixated on quantifying Chan Theory and tried implementing it in code several times. But in the end, I could never make some of its concepts and theoretical issues line up “mathematically” the way I expected. I began to recognize some of Chan Theory’s systemic flaws, and eventually broke free. Since everyone has their own interpretation of Chan Theory, this may be a controversial take, so I’ll leave it there for now.

Then a series of devastating upheavals shook up my life, and I stepped away from crypto and trading for a while.

Then came October 2025, when #币安人生 broke out of its niche. I downloaded Binance again because of Binance #ALPHA , and discovered the magical product that is Binance Square. At first, I just casually posted a few things, treating it like a social media feed. Even now, I don’t think of myself as a KOL. Who knew I’d get so hopelessly hooked on Alpha and Alpha competitions? I posted a ton of related content, and with the rather eccentric vibe of my posts, I somehow ended up gaining a few followers…

Awkward, I’ve hit the character limit again. Square’s short posts always limit what I can say. To be continued in the next post—@芊羽Wing , you’re up…
