Let’s talk about blockchain.
Bitcoin produces an average of one block every 10 minutes. After switching to proof of stake, Ethereum produces blocks in 12-second slots.
Here’s something worth thinking about: being recorded on a blockchain only means that the record is very difficult to change afterward. It doesn’t mean the content of the record is true or accurate.
You can check the confirmation status of each transaction in a block explorer. When you receive coins, you can look it up using the transaction hash.
Bitcoin was the first blockchain network to operate at scale, and $BTC is the native coin of the Bitcoin network.
