Bitquery investigation just dropped a bomb. Between Sept 19 - Oct 18, 7.82M RLUSD payments settled on XRPL. 7.79M of them — 99.6% — were sent by a cluster of just 110 automated wallets to 3 collector wallets.
Value moved? Only $7,722. Average payment: $0.00099 — a tenth of a cent.
All wallets were funded from a single Binance-labeled wallet with $XRP from 6 more Binance wallets. They paid once every 30 seconds 24/7, no memo, no destination tag. For $648 in fees (495 XRP), they made RLUSD look like the busiest token and controlled 45% of ALL $XRPL payments for a week.
Real activity? Only 14,600 payments over $1 worth $7.33B, and 82% of that came from 10 wallets. The bots shut down exactly on Oct 15 when Cross River Bank announced RLUSD integration.
