The results-sharing section is full of winners because the people who lost don’t post.
The day they got liquidated, they just turned off their phones and went to sleep. Nobody wants to share their ugliest screenshots.
Every profitable trade you see posted is from someone who survived. The rest, those who got wiped out, never appeared on the timeline at all.
This has nothing to do with skill—the sample itself has been filtered. If you use a small handful of survivors as your benchmark, of course you’ll feel like you can never get a trade right.
I used to see things that way too. The more I looked, the more I felt stupid. Only later did I realize that the people I was comparing myself to weren’t the whole picture.
When you see someone posting their gains, ask yourself first: where did all the people who didn’t post go?
