⚠️ BTC is knocking on the door at 83,700. Breakout tonight—or another bull trap?

📊 Market at a glance
BTC: $83,591|4H range: 82,600–83,713, up 3.7% from the 80,684 low
ETH: $2,469|4H consolidation near the highs: 2,430–2,478, just shy of the previous high

1️⃣ Wyckoff perspective
After a spring retest of the lows around 80,684, price accumulated in a narrow 81,500–83,200 range, then a single long candle on volume of 4,700+ BTC tore through the range high—a textbook markup. The pullback to the 82,600 supply zone was quickly bought up. Buyers are firmly in control, and the short-term structure is bullish.

2️⃣ 2B rule assessment
The bullish 2B setup was confirmed when price broke above the previous high of 83,158 and held on the retest. BTC is now challenging a new high at 83,713: a high-volume breakout that holds would open up the 84,500–85,000 range; a false breakout followed by a drop below 83,000 would invalidate the 2B setup and put bears back on alert.

3️⃣ Dow Theory
The 4H lows keep rising (80,684 → 81,322 → 82,337 → 82,635), as do the highs (83,158 → 83,439 → 83,713)—a textbook uptrend. As long as the 82,300 pullback low holds, the bullish trend remains intact.

🛡️ Trading strategy
• Aggressive: Go long with a small position after a high-volume breakout above 83,700; stop-loss at 83,000
• Conservative: Go long if price holds on a pullback to 82,600–83,000; stop-loss at 82,200
• Defensive: Exit long positions if the 4H candle closes below 82,300; next level to watch is 81,200
• ETH correlation: If price holds above 2,478, next target is 2,560; use caution and reduce exposure if it falls below 2,434
