$AXIS just listed on Binance Alpha, up 450.8% in 24 hours, yet it has only 289 holders

· 16.5% of the total supply is circulating; total supply is 1 billion
· Market cap: $45.07 million; FDV: $273 million—a 6x gap
· Team and private-sale tokens are locked for 12 months, then vest linearly over 24 months

Axis Robotics creates robot training data. People guide robots in simulated environments to grasp objects and pose; the data is fed into robot foundation models, and participants earn token rewards. Put simply, it’s crowdsourced labeling for embodied AI, with the project built on Base.

I couldn’t find the official full token allocation table. Secondary sources say ecosystem and contributor rewards make up the largest share, but I couldn’t verify the exact percentages. The vesting schedule above also comes from secondary sources. Reported investors include Hack VC, Fenbushi, and Nomad.

With so few holders, a rally this big likely means the tokens are concentrated among a small number of addresses. A token that gets pumped in a single day can also come back down just as fast. It’s a good sign that the team’s private-sale tokens won’t unlock for a year, since that reduces selling pressure in the short term. But for a new token with low circulation and a high FDV, future unlocks will remain an overhang. The sector has a compelling story, and a real contributor network would make this more substantial than a purely narrative-driven project. But without real demand to absorb the supply, it ultimately comes down to market sentiment.
