In the crypto market, October is often called “Uptober” because people expect prices to rise. But this October hasn’t lived up to expectations so far. Last week, Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of $681.1 million, followed by another $228.6 million this week, bringing the total outflows over two weeks to $909.7 million. Rising ETF outflows may indicate weaker investor demand or increased caution about current market conditions. However, money flowing out of ETFs does not necessarily mean Bitcoin’s price will fall. Rather than trading based solely on the expectation that prices must rise because it’s “Uptober,” traders should also consider ETF flows, trading volume, open interest, and key support and resistance levels.
