BTC ANALYSIS – October 20, 2026
• On the Daily (D1) timeframe: Yesterday’s candle was a Bearish Pin Bar with a long upper wick, closing near the lows with increased volume. This shows strong selling pressure when BTC retraced up to the EMA20 D1 resistance zone around 83K, consistent with the scenario I previously outlined.
• After breaking below the equilibrium zone to the downside, BTC has repeatedly retraced to test the EMA20 D1 but failed each time. These pullbacks were continuously sold into, accompanied by high volume on the red candles, indicating that sellers remain in control and that the EMA20 D1 continues to act as a notable resistance zone.
• Based on the current price action, I still lean toward the scenario of BTC continuing lower to retest the recent low around 80K. If selling pressure persists and this support zone is broken, BTC could extend the correction toward the EMA20 W1 area around 75–76K.
• On the H4 timeframe: BTC is currently consolidating sideways in the 80Kx–83K range, showing short-term accumulation after the decline. However, overall, BTC is still trading within a descending channel with a structure of lower highs and lower lows. This indicates that sellers remain dominant, and the current sideways move is not yet sufficient to confirm a bullish reversal.
⇒ Combining both the D1 and H4 timeframes, I continue to favor the downside scenario. Since BTC is currently oscillating within the 80Kx–83K range, the short-term plan for today is to wait for a pullback toward the upper boundary of the range (82Kx–83K) to look for confirmation signals to sell. Priority is given to shorting at the resistance zone rather than chasing price after a deep decline. #BTC
