If you use a program to place futures orders, keep an eye out tomorrow for a “change in price tick size”: Binance will adjust the minimum price increments for some perpetual contracts. Some increments will get smaller, others larger—it’s not a uniform increase in decimal places.

The changes take effect at 14:30 Beijing time on October 22, and the API will be updated at the same time. One easy-to-miss detail: the announcement explicitly states that existing orders won’t be affected and will still be matched using the original price increments.

This means that the fact an old limit order can still be filled doesn’t prove that the price precision in your program is still valid. If you place orders automatically, retrieve the latest rules through the contract information interface, then check the price settings for new orders.

My take: the main thing to check this time is your order-placement program, not your position direction. A change in price tick size alone doesn’t mean these contracts are more likely to rise next.
