U.S. brokerage Webull (Nasdaq: $BULL) has set a date: starting in November, eligible U.S. users will be able to trade perpetual futures, initially including $BTC and other crypto assets, with more to be added before year-end.
Note that these aren’t contracts Webull is simply launching on its own. They’ll be listed on CFTC-regulated KalshiEX (DCM), with clearing through Kalshi Klear (DCO). Users will trade through their existing Webull Futures accounts and must first qualify to trade futures. Webull’s own press release also warns that margin requirements, funding rates, and liquidation rules carry “significant risks” and that the product “is not suitable for everyone.”
Global perpetual futures trading volume is reportedly set to exceed $90 trillion in 2025, but the U.S. has long lacked a “compliant brokerage on-ramp.” Webull has pinned the launch to November, moving that on-ramp from rumor to the schedule. As for leverage limits and fee calculations, the announcement doesn’t include the details yet—we’ll have to wait for the product page.
