【New on Binance】Berkshire tokenized stock opens for trading tonight at 20:00
Buffett’s Berkshire will be available to trade on Binance Spot tonight.
Binance announced at 11:00 today that five bStocks have been added to Spot and Convert: RoboStrategy (BOTB), Berkshire Hathaway (BRKBB), STAR 50 ETF (KSTRB), 3x Long 20+ Year U.S. Treasury ETF (TMFB), and Vistra (VSTB).
According to Odaily, trading opens tonight at 20:00 Beijing time. All are paired with USDT. Withdrawals open at 21:00, and maker fees are waived through October 31.
The most interesting additions are KSTRB and TMFB: Binance’s tokenized stocks have expanded beyond U.S. equities to include the STAR Market and leveraged U.S. Treasury ETFs.
A reminder: bStocks are tokens pegged 1:1 to the underlying stock price and do not confer shareholder rights. Their prices may diverge from the underlying stocks while U.S. markets are closed.
My take: Liquidity may be thin and spreads wide during the first few minutes after opening, so there’s no need to rush in. I’ll be watching the deviation between tonight’s 20:00 opening prices and the underlying stocks’ closing prices.
