🔥 BTC hit 83,000 again and gave it back. The market is saying: take it easy.
📊 Price: 82,780 (+1.36% on the day)
📊 24h high: 83,439 | Low: 81,322
📊 Daily Bollinger Bands: upper band 86,127 | middle 83,175 | lower 80,223
📊 RSI(14): 51.57, neutral, no extreme in either direction
📊 StochRSI: 50.92, has turned upward, but is far from 0
📊 MACD: histogram shrinking (-211), the decline is losing strength, but there hasn't been a crossover yet
📊 OBV: flat at -179,000, with no steady inflow of new money
📊 Order book: 58.7% buy vs. 41.3% sell, with a 162 BTC sell wall at 83,000

🌎 Macro factors weighing on the market:
🔸 September CPI: 3.7% (above the 3.6% expected). Core: 2.6%
🔸 The Fed raised interest rates in September to 3.75%–4%. At the October 28 meeting: 17% chance of another hike now, 94% chance of at least one by December
🔸 10-year Treasury yield: 5.15%. High interest rates are a headwind for risk assets
🔸 Brent crude is above $111, adding to inflation
🔸 BTC ETFs took in $527 million on Monday, their biggest day since 09/22. But October is still slightly negative
🔸 Options: puts have more than twice the volume of calls, and the most-traded strike is 80,000
In other words: BTC is caught in the middle. 80,000 is the floor everyone is watching, and 83,000 is the current ceiling. One good ETF day doesn't confirm a reversal. With StochRSI in the middle and the price far from the lower band, there's no safe entry today. Chasing a candle is costly.
🎯 Entry plan:
✅ I’ll only buy if the price touches the lower band (80,200 to 80,000) and StochRSI is near 0
✅ If it loses 80,000 on a daily close, I’ll stay out. The next downside target is 77,000
✅ If it closes the day above 83,200 on volume, the path opens toward 86,000
✅ I’ll reduce my position size ahead of the Fed meeting (on the 28th)
