Asian markets rebound strongly… but CATL stock tells a different story! 📈

Asian markets opened with a strong rally, with South Korea’s Kospi up more than 2% and Japan’s Nikkei gaining over 800 points, before extending its gains later to more than 1,300 points. Taiwan and Hong Kong also posted notable gains, supported by a recovery in technology and chip stocks.

🔹 South Korea: SK hynix shares jumped 5.89% and Samsung Electronics rose 4.14%, as demand for chip stocks returned.

🔹 Hong Kong: Lenovo shares rose 6% and Alibaba gained 2%, while CATL fell despite a 15% increase in quarterly profits, after its results came in below market expectations.

🔹 Japan: The trade deficit reached 536.5 billion yen, exceeding analysts’ expectations.

In my view, the market’s reaction to results is sometimes more important than profit growth itself; expectations are what move prices. ⚡

Will the rally in Asian technology stocks continue, or will we see profit-taking after this rebound?
