Revenue of $12.87 billion was basically in line with expectations, while EPS of $0.87 slightly beat the $0.82 estimate.
But full-year revenue guidance narrowed to $51.1 billion, ad revenue was cut from $3 billion to $2.7 billion, and the company also laid off more than 6% of its staff and fired its top content executive.
Shares fell about 6% in after-hours trading.
