The Dow led the session, rising 1.02% to 52,495.88. The S&P 500 added 0.28% to 7,712.57 for a second straight gain, while the Nasdaq was nearly flat at 26,424.82.
DXY traded around 101.7–101.8, and the 10-year Treasury yield eased to 5.11–5.12%. Oil was volatile but finished lower: WTI around $97.80–$98.50, with Brent at $108.79, down 0.7%.
Oil swung on Hormuz and Houthi risks before easing on renewed Iran diplomacy chatter. Yields also slipped, while money rotated into blue chips and small caps. Tech was little changed. Pending home sales fell 7.3% m/m.
