Binance’s newly launched Agent ID gives AI wallets memorable names like xxx.ai. Just like yezi.ai in the image, there’s no need to copy and paste a long, garbled wallet address. Others can simply search for your name to send you funds.
This .ai name is an identity ID designed specifically for use with Agentic Wallet (an AI agent wallet). It launched alongside Binance AI Pro and is available to claim for free on a first-come, first-served basis.
Claim yours in just three steps:
First, create a Binance Wallet
Activate the Agentic Wallet AI agent wallet
On the home screen card in the Binance Wallet app, claim your own xxx.ai name
Many people ask, what is this AI wallet for?
Agentic Wallet is a separate sub-wallet, with funds completely isolated from your main wallet. You can set spending limits and authorize AI agents to automatically trade, monitor the market, and manage assets within the rules you set—without worrying that AI can directly access all the funds in your main account. This .ai is the AI agent’s exclusive identity card.
In the past, Web3 wallets used a string of characters starting with 0x to identify themselves, which was difficult for ordinary people to remember.
Now that’s replaced with .ai, which is more like an internet domain name: easy to read and share. In the future, when AI agents interact and transfer funds with one another, they’ll just need to recognize this name—no more dealing with complex on-chain addresses.
Many people compare it to ENS domains (xxx.eth), but the differences are actually significant:
An ENS domain is a screen name for a person’s wallet;
This `.ai` is the ID card of an AI agent.
1. Easy to get started: Claim one for free—no need to spend money bidding. It’s first come, first served, and simple to use.
2. Built for the AI ecosystem. Designed specifically for AI agents, so they can identify one another by name when interacting. It’s foundational identity infrastructure for Web3 + AI.
3. Safer through fund isolation. Agentic Wallet is a separate sub-wallet where you can set transaction limits. AI can only use the assets within the sub-wallet’s limit, so even if something goes wrong with the AI, the funds in your main wallet won’t all be exposed to risk.
Agent ID is currently an identity label, not a token. You also need to set permissions for your AI agent wallet and manage the risks. Automated AI trading always carries market and strategy risks, so don’t blindly rely on AI to operate automatically.
The Web3 + AI story is constantly evolving. From AI agents carrying out tasks automatically to now giving AI its own exclusive .ai identity, this is another step forward for the AI agent ecosystem.
