DIF and DEA crossed paths, and my fingers immediately started itching—good thing I checked the definition first.
Seriously though, the histogram bars show the difference between DIF and DEA; some software multiplies it by 2 as well. When the bars switch from negative to positive, that’s exactly when DIF crosses above DEA.
The same data can mean completely different things in different market conditions, so don’t blindly apply a rule of thumb.
