Initially, I planned to short around 82,000, where I expected resistance. But there was no clear resistance at that level, and the price instead moved straight toward 83,000. We went with the trend and held our long position until around 83,000, where we took profit. We were lucky enough to capture around 1,800 points.
This four-hour rebound is no longer just a simple recovery from the lows. After holding firm around 81,200, the price pushed higher with a series of solid bullish candles, recovering most of the ground lost in the previous decline. Selling pressure appeared as it rose to 83,400, but the pullback was limited, and the candlesticks have maintained a high center of gravity. Price also has not fallen back below the area where the previous rally began. This suggests the bullish move did not end with a single upward candle; instead, it is building strength after changing hands at higher levels. The four-hour highs and lows are now starting to move up again. As long as this consolidation at higher levels holds, there is room for further upside. Looking at the one-hour chart, after falling from 83,439, the price did not continue to sell off in a string of bearish candles. It quickly found support around 82,500, and subsequent lows have been progressively higher, with bullish candles pushing the price back toward 83,000. The key point is that there has been no clear second wave of selling after the pullback, which suggests that although some traders are taking profits overhead, buyers are still stepping in. This sideways action at elevated levels looks more like consolidation after the rapid rally, and the short-term trend remains strong. If price decisively breaks above 83,439, the four-hour chart will open up further upside. The resistance zone above 84,000 will likely be tested again, and if the strength continues, price could move higher still. The outlook remains bullish.
Long Bitcoin at 82,600–82,900. First target: 84,300, then 85,800.
Long Ethereum at 2,435–2,445. First target: 2,480, then 2,520. $BTC
