#nil $NIL @Nillion With Dusk officially launching on Ethereum mainnet, Nillion’s Encrypted Markets roadmap has truly become a reality. What I like most about Covenants is how it solves one of the biggest problems with on-chain trading: exposing your intentions. Previously, whether it was a limit order, stop-loss order, or conditional order, everything had to be written transparently on-chain. Anyone could see your strategy at a glance and even target it specifically. Covenants encrypts and seals the instructions instead. Only when the specified conditions are actually met do the nodes work together to unlock and execute them. The whole process doesn’t rely on a single intermediary, nor does it reveal your plans in advance.

This “seal first, unlock later” mechanism is very useful for swing traders and anyone placing conditional orders. As Nillion continues to advance its 7-era roadmap, the upcoming Darkfall and Nightside phases are what I’m most looking forward to. Darkfall will extend Covenants to more EVM chains, while Nightside will support more flexible custom conditions. Cross-chain monitoring and complex trigger logic could become possible in the future. Dusk is just getting started, but we can already see the direction in which crypto markets are moving: from “fully transparent” to “disclosed on demand.”

I’ll continue to follow the progress of the node network and real-world applications, and I’m also looking forward to seeing more tools built on Covenants.
