$ZEC still has to be the leader in the privacy sector. When the broader market doesn’t rise, it moves independently. Isn’t it obvious they don’t want holders trapped below 1,000 to break even?

During the early hype, quite a few holders got trapped below 1,000. This recent wave of high-leverage futures longs has mostly been flushed out. The market maker has stopped following the broader market and started moving independently. Now it may be the shorts’ turn again.

Looking at the current daily chart, it has been consolidating and shaking out positions in the 1,100–1,200 range in the short term. Its support is at 1,048, so you can enter a long position at the current price. The damn market maker won’t let the holders trapped below break even in the short term.
