TRON doesn’t wait for the USDT market to grow, folks..
In CoinDesk’s Q3 report, the global USDT supply is flat at around $184 billion. Meanwhile, USDT on TRON exceeds $92.7 billion during the quarter, taking its share of the total supply above half. Its share of stablecoin transfer volume in September is also 73%.
I think the strong signal here is being able to capture a share of existing liquidity while the market stays flat. As exchange and wallet support, liquidity, and transfer habits reinforce one another, the network’s advantage grows.
This is where I see the side of TRON that can’t easily be copied.. It’s possible to offer higher TPS, but it’s much harder to get people to switch away from a network they’ve been using for years to send dollars. For me, established usage at this scale is a serious competitive advantage. $TRX
