Honestly, Dayu really underestimated everyone’s enthusiasm this time, and I wasn’t prepared well enough in advance. In just over an hour, more than a thousand people had requested to add me. After I posted that I was closing the friend-request channel, I could only review and approve requests manually, one by one. Quite a few of you had to wait four or five hours to get approved, so I couldn’t arrange the perks for everyone right away. I’m sorry to have kept you waiting.
I also want to be clear with everyone: after I posted that the friend-request channel was closed and the event was over, anyone who hadn’t added me and then came to claim a perk will have to accept my apologies. The rules were clear from the start: once the event ended, it was too late. If I had no limits and accepted requests indefinitely, who knows—tens of thousands of people might come looking for me, and I’d still be handing things out by Chinese New Year 😂 I’m completely wiped out today, so I’m calling it an early night. Tomorrow I’ll record the exact number of people who received perks and share it openly, fairly, and transparently 🙏
