$AIOT +13% in one day|660,000 people hold it, but the pool has only $290K left 🤔
Bottom line: Watch, but be cautious. The project is doing real work, but right now there are too many people and too little money in this market. I’m sitting this one out for now.
AIOT is OKZOO’s token, built on BNB Chain for DePIN and AI environmental-data hardware. It claims to be the largest DePIN project on BNB Chain. Binance Alpha ran two airdrop rounds for it back in the day: users with 230 points or more could claim 160 tokens. Those tokens were distributed far and wide, leaving it with 664,000 holder addresses—the most of any project.
It’s up 13% today, putting it in the top eight gainers. 24-hour trading volume is $1.19 million, meaning a quarter of the circulating supply changed hands in a day. Here’s the interesting part: 4.78K buy trades versus 6.09K sell trades. There were more sell trades, yet the price still rose, which suggests the buy orders were larger. But the pool has only $290K in liquidity, and daily volume is four times the pool’s size. Slippage won’t be small at this depth.
Looking at the holders: the top ten addresses control 80%, while the average retail holder has only about $7 worth. I checked on-chain: the devs have no tokens left, there’s no sniping or insider stash, and less than 3% of the supply is held by coordinated whale addresses. The contract itself looks fine. But with 660,000 holders and an average of $7 each, if someone leads the way out, this pool simply can’t absorb it.
Why the price is rising? The market has been circulating a story over the past couple of days that a staking platform called Alpha WORLD will launch with AIOT as its first listed asset. (This is third-party information; it remains to be seen whether it’s true.) There’s a story, but it hasn’t materialized yet.
Risk disclosure: This is not investment advice. Alpha projects are high-risk and could go to zero. With 660,000 holders and an average of $7 per holder, do you see this as strong consensus or heavy selling pressure? 👀
