At 20:30 on October 20 (UTC+8), Binance Wallet posted that Binance Alpha will debut robotics project Axis Robotics ($AXIS) on October 21. Once trading opens, eligible users can redeem an airdrop with points on the Alpha Events page. The exact requirements and claim period will be announced by Binance later.
What Axis does is easy to understand: for robots to learn how to work, they first need to watch plenty of demonstrations by real people. Axis lets ordinary people remotely control real robotic arms through a webpage to perform tasks such as picking things up and pouring water. Each operation is recorded and used to train robots. Participants earn points based on their contributions. The snapshot for Season 1 ended on October 18, and Season 2 begins on October 23.
The project has been making quite a splash lately. In the early hours of October 20, Coinbase added AXIS to its listing roadmap. Bitget and MEXC also announced that AXIS/USDT trading will open at 21:00 on October 21 (UTC+8). Before this, the project co-hosted a creator campaign with Kaito, attracting 6,221 creators in total.
Claiming Alpha airdrops has previously required spending some points, so you can wait until the requirements are announced to decide whether it’s worth claiming. Newly listed tokens often see sharp price swings in their first few days, so be cautious about buying in at a peak. When claiming, make sure to use the official entry point in the Binance app, and never click “claim links” forwarded in group chats.
