Looking back at $UNI , I feel it can no longer be thought of simply as a legacy DEX token.

The changes Uniswap is making this cycle are significant, as it continues to build toward becoming foundational on-chain trading infrastructure. With v4’s iterative Hooks development, liquidity pools are no longer constrained by fixed rules. Developers can customize fees, trading logic, and liquidity management, opening up a whole new realm of possibilities. Meanwhile, Unichain is advancing another interoperability initiative to build a complete on-chain trading environment. So when I look at UNI now, I’m not so worried about whether DEXs can become popular again. The more important question is whether Uniswap can evolve from a DEX protocol into a complete suite of on-chain trading infrastructure. Recently, people in the crypto community have been discussing Hooks, on-chain trading, and equivalent liquidity. This legacy asset is now attracting a lot of fresh perspectives. In the past, the main things to watch with UNI were trading volume and TVL. Now, v4, Unichain, and institutional access are all key; otherwise, these new infrastructure capabilities won’t translate into more real trading.

Personally, I’m still very bullish. At the current price of 7.15, you can confidently build a position.
