The battle to defend Bitcoin at 81,000 is on. It’s at 81,400 now, and the level hasn’t broken yet.
We lost 82,000 this morning. The bounce got pushed back down, and now we’re hovering just above 81,000. If this wall breaks, 78,000 is next. What I said at noon still stands—neither proven right nor proven wrong yet.
Altcoins are a study in extremes today. JCT is up 1.2x on the day, with $230 million in trading volume. ALT and APR are close behind, both up more than 20%. On the other side, EPIC has plunged by a third, while AGT is down 9%. Anyone who chased them this morning got caught in the afternoon sell-off.
Stock-linked tokens are getting hit even harder, in both directions: 3x leveraged semiconductor tokens are down 9%, while 3x short tokens are up 10%. AI computing-power stocks like CRWV and NBIS are all underwater. Nobody’s buying the AI-computing narrative today. Among the major coins, only BNB is still in the green, holding up.
Ethereum is hovering around 2,380. It has no story of its own, so it’s following Bitcoin.
Here’s the painful part: KORU and SOXL, which I called out this morning, are now down 13% and 9%, respectively. Today, my calls are a reverse indicator—if you’re going to follow them, please do the opposite.
