$BTC The data-driven case for a likely sharp short-term rally (based on real-time trade flow, order-book data, and liquidation data)

The current price is around $81,500–81,600.

There’s a clear short-liquidation magnet overhead: around $85,200, roughly $50–58M worth of highly leveraged shorts (mainly 25x) are clustered, with more clusters further up. If the price decisively breaks through the $83k–84k range, these shorts will be forced to close, triggering a chain of buy orders and potentially accelerating the short-term rally.

Key data supporting this view:
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw massive net inflows of $526M yesterday. BlackRock’s IBIT alone saw inflows of $665M in a single day—the largest institutional buying activity in recent times.
The long/short ratio is around 1.6–1.8, and funding rates are mildly positive, suggesting longs are in the lead but not excessively crowded; there’s still plenty of short fuel overhead.
On-chain data recently shows signs of net outflows from exchanges by whales. Combined with ETF buying, this points to a possible recovery in spot demand.

My take: If the price can hold above $82,000 and absorb short-term selling pressure, there’s a decent chance it will sweep shorts up to $85k or even higher. This looks more like an accelerating move driven by ETF inflows and a short squeeze than pure sentiment-driven speculation.

What do you guys think—will the shorts around $85k get swept directly, or will we see a pullback before the rally?
