🚀 Solana processed 8.92 billion transactions in one quarter—is anything actually happening on-chain?
The latest data: Solana recorded 8.92 billion non-vote transactions in Q3 2026.
Here’s how the pace compares:
🔹 Q4 2025: 4.38 billion
🔹 Q1 2026: 7.54 billion
🔹 Q2 2026: 7.19 billion
🔹 Q3 2026: 8.92 billion, up 104% from Q4 2025
What’s even more worth watching is what’s behind those transactions: around 1.4 million addresses now hold tokenized stocks on-chain, and the RWA market cap has surpassed $3 billion—putting Solana ahead of Avalanche and Arbitrum.
Of course, there are more cautious voices in the community: some of those transactions may come from bots and automated activity, so they can’t all be counted as real users.
My take: transaction counts alone can be misleading because of “wash activity,” but metrics like the number of tokenized-stock-holding addresses and the size of the RWA market are harder to fake. If both keep growing, it suggests Solana is shifting from a “meme casino” toward payments and on-chain assets—and that’s the longer-term narrative that matters.
Do you think Solana’s growth reflects real demand, or is it a boom propped up by bots? Let’s discuss in the comments 👇
