Money is flowing in, but the price hasn’t followed—that’s today’s most important divergence.

On Monday, U.S. spot $BTC ETFs saw net inflows of $526.7 million, the largest in nearly a month. IBIT alone attracted $665.2 million. But $BTC only briefly touched 83,155 before closing flat, and today it’s pulled back to around 81,400.

My take: this isn’t a broad-based recovery; it’s capital crowding into BTC. FBTC and GBTC are still seeing outflows, while $ETH ETFs also recorded net outflows of $103.3 million that same day. Money is returning to Bitcoin, not altcoins.

Two things to watch next: first, whether IBIT inflows continue for a second straight day. If it’s only a one-day spike, that’s catch-up buying, not a trend reversal. Second, whether $BTC can reclaim 83,000 and turn those inflows into price gains. If selling pressure absorbs all the inflows, that’s a warning sign for the bulls.

Do you think institutions are buying the dip, or is this just a catch-up?
