The ETF fund flow figures for Monday just came out, and BTC and ETH moved in opposite directions this time.

On October 19, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of about $527 million for the day. BlackRock’s IBIT alone recorded $665 million in net inflows—more than the total across all funds combined—while the other products collectively saw net outflows. By contrast, U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs recorded $103 million in net outflows that same day, with funds continuing to bleed out.

The total net assets of spot Bitcoin ETFs are about $105.46 billion, and BTC is currently trading at around $81,900. Notably, the previous week (October 12–16) saw net outflows overall, making this large inflow an unusual one-day spike in recent months. A single day of net inflows doesn’t necessarily signal a trend reversal; the key is whether inflows continue for several days.

If this wave of inflows continues, it could support Bitcoin’s price. If it’s just a one-off surge, the impact may be limited. Do you think these inflows will last?
