A day in crypto:
DeFi protocols in 24 hours: collect fees
Me in 24 hours: pay fees
Here’s the ranking (only protocols whose tokens have trading pairs on Binance are included):
No.1 $PUMP Pump|$2.1 million
No.2 $HYPE Hyperliquid|$1.92 million
No.3 $SKY Sky|$448,000
No.4 WLFI World Liberty Financial|$382,000
No.5 AERO Aero Protocol|$198,000
At the top: $PUMP Pump, with $2.1 million. The five together made $5.05 million. I did the math, and I’m only one protocol and a bunch of willing fee-payers away from making the list.
I also figured out something: when people trade in and out, the biggest beneficiary often isn’t me—it’s whoever collects the fees. So lately, I’ve learned to trade less. The results so far: lower expenses and more sleep.
Jokes aside, here’s a serious point: protocol revenue and token prices are separated by tokenomics design, so don’t equate the two.
Just sharing some thoughts—don’t take this as advice.
