When it comes to stirring things up, it has to be Musk and Trump
Trump publicly thanks Musk for his “nationwide airdrop,” calling him a “legendary friend”
On the morning of October 20, U.S. President Trump posted a message thanking Musk for his “nationwide airdrop.” Trump said, “A heartfelt thank-you to our legendary friend Elon Musk, who has generously donated SpaceX shares to millions of American children through the TRUMP account! This is exactly what we envisioned when we established the TRUMP account—to bring together the strength of the great private sector, Elon, and so many others to invest in our children. They are our most precious and important asset. Every American child should have a stake in the American Dream.”
Yesterday, Musk posted that next year he would give one share of SpaceX stock to every child in the United States, adding that this would be the first in a series of similar initiatives to come.
Some market analysts have pointed out that one motive behind Musk’s move is to help Trump in the midterm elections.
