One of the established coins seeing the biggest gains today is $WLD , up more than 10% in 24 hours, with over $300 million in trading volume.
I find the reason pretty interesting: On Sunday, World unveiled a suite of tools for banks at Money20/20 to "prove you’re human" and prevent AI face-swap video-call scams. Put simply, they’re bundling a few existing products and selling them to financial institutions. So far, though, I haven’t seen any bank actually pay for them.
I’m watching just two price levels:
Above $0.55 is the high it got rejected from over the past couple of days. It’ll be worth watching only if it can hold above that level;
Around $0.49 is yesterday’s pullback low. If it falls back below that, this news-driven rally will have pretty much given back all its gains.
WLD has often followed the pattern of "rallying on the news, then returning to square one a week later." Tokens are also unlocked and released every day, so keep that in mind if you’re chasing the move.
Do you think banks will actually buy this "prove I’m human" product, or is it just a good story?
For my own notes. DYOR. Not investment advice.
