Is the “buying frenzy” among corporate Bitcoin buyers over? Q3 data pours cold water 🧊

📉 According to Bitwise/Cointelegraph: Strategy added just 1,666 BTC in Q3, compared with 83,901 in Q2. Other publicly listed companies added 5,617, down from 45,725 the previous quarter.
🚪 Another 12 treasury companies that entered the market in 2025 have liquidated their holdings to repay debt or return capital to shareholders.
🏦 Spot ETFs saw $6.4 billion in net inflows in Q3. However, they recorded about $229 million in net outflows last week—the second consecutive week of outflows—with some attributed to basis trades that can be unwound quickly.

👉 My take: The era of indiscriminately raising funds to buy Bitcoin is unlikely to return. Capital will flow to companies with scale, strong liquidity, and solid track records. The market is paying closer attention to financing costs and BTC per share. If BTC continues to strengthen, corporate treasury buying could resume.
