According to Solana’s official figures, non-vote transactions totaled approximately 8.92 billion in Q3 2026, roughly double the 4.38 billion in Q4 2025, an increase of about 104%.

X trending topics and Cointelegraph reports are consistent. The community also mentioned approximately 1.4 million tokenized stock addresses and an RWA market cap of around $3 billion. CoinGecko puts spot SOL at about $104.45, roughly flat to slightly weaker over 24 hours (snapshot at approximately 10:05 Beijing time).

I think this is evidence of rising activity, but I wouldn’t interpret the transaction count as meaning retail traders are making money more easily. We still need to break down how many non-vote transactions involve real payments and applications, and how many are arbitrage and bots.

I’ll be watching two conditions next. If non-vote transactions fall below 6 billion in a subsequent quarter, I’ll downgrade the doubling narrative to a temporary surge. If SOL falls below $95 and its 24-hour decline exceeds 6%, I’ll stop treating the throughput buzz as support for the price.

Which do you think matters more: applications gaining traction, or an outsized contribution from bots? I think the former is worth tracking through the data, but in the short term, transaction counts shouldn’t be used to predict price.
