$SUI saw a sharp sell-off over 15m, with a 1.63% drop on 9.92x volume and an aggressive buy/sell ratio of 0.34—in plain terms, sell orders were dominating. What’s interesting is that OI fell on both the 15m and 1h timeframes, by 1.83% and 1.95%, respectively, with more than two million U in notional positions exiting. This doesn’t look like fresh shorts piling in to push the price down; it looks more like longs pulling the rug out from under themselves, with stop-losses and position cuts hitting at the same time. Binance liquidations over 5m were heavily concentrated on the sell side at 238K, strongly suggesting long deleveraging. The OI anomaly percentile is 98.6%, ranking 6th across the entire pool. With such an extreme reading persisting across multiple consecutive timeframes, short-term downside momentum is still playing out. However, volume has surged while positions are shrinking, so it may be worth watching for a rebound after the leverage flush—don’t rush to buy the dip.
