BlackRock launches another innovative product! On October 19, BlackRock filed an application with the SEC for a Bitcoin downside-protection ETF, ticker $PBIT, linked to $IBIT. The fund will offer capped upside exposure to Bitcoin while providing investors with a degree of downside protection.

Investment strategy: BlackRock plans to buy Bitcoin options in three tranches, offsetting costs and capping upside by selling options. It will also invest in fixed-income products to earn interest, hedge risk, and provide downside protection.
