Mastercard launched its Stablecoin Security risk intelligence service at Money20/20 USA, helping financial institutions assess stablecoin payment risks before funds go on-chain. The service traces the source of funds, identifies links to financial crimes such as fraud and sanctions violations, and connects to banks’ compliance systems via API. Its first partners are Borderless.xyz and Keyrails. The service will launch first in North America, with global commercial availability expected in 2027. BVNK is expected to be added next year.
