【AVAX at $9: A golden buying opportunity or another trap for bagholders?】
Honestly, lately a lot more people have suddenly been asking me whether AVAX is worth buying on the dip.
You know what? AVAX is down more than 93% from its peak. I’ve never seen a drop like this—not even when I got wrecked in 2017. It’s not a sudden, waterfall-like crash where it’s all over fast. It’s more like a slow, dull knife, dragging on until you go numb.
What does a 93% drop mean? You put in 1 million, and now you’ve got 70,000 left. I’m not joking.
But it’s precisely because it’s fallen this far that I find it interesting.
First reason: this kind of decline is the biggest piece of bad news in itself. “The bad news is already priced in” isn’t just an empty phrase—it really happens. When everyone’s taken a beating, cursing up a storm, and deleting the app, the people still selling are either getting liquidated on leverage or have truly given up. After that much shaking out, the remaining holders are actually a cleaner group.
Second reason: that $9.09 support level wasn’t drawn out of thin air. It’s where a round-number level and a technical level overlap. If it really breaks, there’s no floor below—but honestly, if this level gives way, the whole crypto market would already be crashing. It wouldn’t just be an AVAX problem.
Third reason: have you noticed the Fear and Greed Index is at 59 right now, in greed territory? Seven days ago, AVAX fell nearly 10%, but the index didn’t collapse. What does that tell us? Sentiment is holding up better than price. It suggests that the people still in the game aren’t so easily rattled.
So when I look at AVAX now, I’m not asking whether it’ll go up. I’m asking whether it can hold steady. If it does, then there’s a chance.
So what would make me think I got it wrong? Simple—if a black swan hits BTC, or market sentiment suddenly turns to panic, then it won’t just be AVAX; nobody will be able to get out in time. When I say “hold steady,” I’m assuming BTC doesn’t suffer a major crash.
As for whether it’s worth buying the dip… I won’t tell you what to do. I’ll just say I understand why some people might want to get in at this level.
What’s your mindset right now? Would you dare to take a chance on this move? Let me know in the comments. #AVAX #加密市场 #STARTUPSI #MarketInstinct
