The XAU strategy we discussed earlier has played out successfully, and we’ve locked in solid gains on this move. Before a breakout, the biggest risk is mistaking hard evidence for noise. The bearish structure in this move, $LAB , is already crystal clear. The daily, four-hour, and one-hour charts are all trading below their moving averages. When the trend is aligned across timeframes, trying to call a bottom against the trend really isn’t worth the risk, right?
What I’m seeing is that one-hour momentum is still weak. Every rebound looks like another chance for trapped holders to sell into strength. Until the key resistance zone is convincingly reclaimed, I’d rather stay with the bears and wait for a pullback than try to catch a falling knife. Of course, there may be a rebound, but until the structure turns, the downward shift in focus is likely to continue.
