Last year, I put a good amount of money into a coin just because everyone was saying, “It’s going to take off.” I didn’t even check what the project actually did.
Two weeks later, it had lost half its value. That’s when I realized: if you buy because of what people say, you end up selling because of what people say too.
Now I follow one rule: before I buy, I ask myself, “Can I explain to someone why I bought this?” If I can’t, I don’t buy it. Simple, but hard to stick to 😅
